Website design and brand positioning for a workplace design specialist.
We partnered with Corporate Workspace (COWO) to design and build a new website that brought greater clarity, direction and focus to how the business communicates online. While the initial brief centred on website design, it quickly became clear that the site could only work effectively if it was underpinned by a clear brand positioning and a more coherent digital narrative. Our role was to help align brand and website so the business could better express its evolving offer, communicate its value with confidence and ensure its digital presence works harder for the audiences it needs to reach.

Website design and brand positioning for a design-led organisation:
We defined and developed a clear brand strategy to sit behind the website, aligning message, digital experience and visual expression around a shared sense of direction. This ensured the new website was not simply a redesign, but a more purposeful articulation of how the business thinks, works and presents itself today.
As part of this evolution, we extended the positioning into the behaviour of the existing COWO identity. By animating the marque to express the idea of spatial transformation, we created a dynamic visual device that reinforced the strategic narrative. Used throughout the website, this motion brought greater unity between positioning and identity, strengthening overall impact and giving the brand a more confident and contemporary digital presence.
The resulting identity system and website design support Corporate Workspace’s evolution from furniture specialist to a full workplace interiors and fit-out consultancy, while strengthening alignment with their design-led manufacturing partners.
Clarifying Brand Strategy to Support Business Growth:
We defined and developed a clear brand strategy for Corporate Workspace, centred on the positioning: “Making your space work.” The idea provides a strong sense of direction, helping align people, purpose and ways of working through a more purposeful and considered approach to design.
Importantly, this positioning was not treated as a line of copy alone. We translated the concept of spatial transformation into the movement and behaviour of the COWO identity itself, using animation to visually articulate the idea of space shifting and responding. This ensured the strategy was expressed consistently across both language and visual form, creating cohesion between positioning and digital experience.
The positioning also played a key role in supporting the evolution of the business, clearly articulating the expansion of their offer to include fit-out services. This helped clients better understand the value of an end-to-end approach – from design and furnishing through to delivery – and positioned Corporate Workspace as a strategic partner rather than a single-discipline supplier.

Using Website Design to Reflect Creative Thinking:
We designed the website to take direct cues from architectural space, creating a clean, considered digital experience shaped by layout, proportion and visual tension. Carefully balanced use of negative space allows content to breathe, helping users focus on what matters most while reinforcing the brand’s design-led mindset.
A flexible system of page templates applies consistent visual principles across the site, while allowing different projects, services and stories to take prominence where needed. This approach ensures the website works both as a showcase of expertise and a practical tool for communicating the breadth of the offer.

Designing a Clear and Considered Digital Experience:
User experience design was approached with a focus on clarity, flow and ease of use. Navigation structures, scrolling behaviour and loading transitions were all carefully considered to create a calm, intuitive journey through the site.
These details contribute to a refined digital experience design that feels purposeful rather than performative, reflecting the quality, professionalism and attention to detail expected from a design-led organisation. The result is a website that supports understanding, builds confidence and encourages deeper engagement.
Extending Brand Identity Through Custom Visual Language:
To further evolve the brand identity, we designed a set of custom branding symbols that sit alongside the existing logo and monogram. Integrated directly into the user interface, these bespoke elements add character and refinement to navigation and interactions, reinforcing a crafted and considered website design throughout.

Using Brand Photography to Communicate People and Process:
We art directed and delivered original brand photography to emphasise Corporate Workspace’s people-driven approach and collaborative design process. The imagery showcases the studio, team and working environment, while highlighting the quality of their workplace interiors and furniture.
This imagery helps communicate trust, expertise and a tailored approach to every project, reinforcing the brand’s emphasis on collaboration and design quality.
Using Social Media to Strengthen Brand Positioning:
Alongside the website, we developed a social media strategy as part of a wider approach to Corporate Workspace’s digital communications. The strategy was designed to extend the value of the website by promoting projects, product knowledge and the breadth of services. This approach helps tell deeper brand stories, drives traffic back to the site and reinforces consistent brand positioning across channels.

Supporting Engagement Through Email Marketing:
To reinforce the brand and encourage repeat engagement, we developed a monthly email marketing campaign as part of the wider digital strategy. The campaign directs audiences back to the website, promoting new projects, products and services while supporting long-term relationship building and maximising the value of the digital investment.
